Maybe you should talk to a shaman

Oh boy....according to this line of reasoning we'd all have to get out guns and kill each other. There were africans who sold their own people into slavery out of the same type of greed that europeans posessed. There were jews that ratted out each other in the holocaust to save their own butts, there were native americans that were happy to toss aside their heritage for the appeal of western comfy living, etc. and so on and so on. So once again the holding groups accountable thing would seem far too general.

My point is there are people with good intentions and people with bad intentions in all "groups" religions races sexes families countries etc. etc. So say, I, for my example as a polish person, would I try to hold germans accountable for the fate of my ancestors? Of course not. Not all germans harmed me, not all whites harmed natives and african americans, not all catholics harmed whoever. People have been abusing others and taking land from each other and warring with each other for thousands, possibly millions of years, so we could really dig up some grudges if we wanted to focus our energy on negativity, or we could work together on a compromise, which is usually the only effective solution to an arguement. As an individual one has the choice of how they want to perceive any set of circumstances. Maybe you should talk to a shaman and you might be surprised at their perception. I recommend reading Lynn Andrews books. Star Woman would be a good lesson here.
