9 to employment.

13 MR. MORRIS: The other thing is we contacted Mr. Richard North
14 last night and he is preparing a statement.

22 A. Yes, that is my full name.
24 Q. Could you please keep your voice up?
25 A. Okay, sorry.
27 Q. If you aim at me then everybody will hear and so shall
28 I which will help. Do you give your address as Waterside
29 Drive, Langley in Berkshire?
30 A. That is the address of Perseco.
32 Q. When did Perseco move their European headquarters to this
34 A. In November 1991.
36 Q. Were they based in Holland before that, in the Netherlands?
37 A. Yes, they were.
39 Q. Are you yourself a Dutch National?
40 A. Yes, I am.
42 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mr. Van Erp, I can see that you speak English
43 absolutely fluently. As it is not your first language, if
44 at any stage you have any hesitation about what anyone
45 means, say so.

54 A. Yes, I am.
56 Q. Do they design and purchase packaging for McDonald's
57 restaurants throughout the world?
58 A. Yes, Perseco does. Perseco, Europe, has the
59 responsibility for the European market.
