Day 118 - 01 May 95 - Page 06

       because it was Sunday.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If you cannot sort something out this
evening, let me know again. What kind of word processing
programme do you have on it?

  MS. STEEL: Word Perfect.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Which one?

MS. STEEL: 5.1. Hopefully, we should manage.

MR. MORRIS: Before we start, I am not sure if you have the
statement of Philip Pearson, the expert report. I am not
       sure if you have copy?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not think I do. I have the one which is
in the bundle, which is a very short -- not very short --
it is compactly word-processed page and a half.

MR. MORRIS: It was served about a month ago, I think. I seem
to remember you said "Hand it up at a later time" or
       something.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will look at that overnight tonight. Then
I will put it behind his enclosure No. 9, tab 9.

MR. MORRIS: While we are on the subject of further documents,
I think you said that you did not have this statement by
France Wurtz regarding the soya issue. If I can hand it up
in any event with those enclosures. The Plaintiffs had
       that a year ago.

MR. RAMPTON: I certainly do not have any document by France
Wurtz it, nor does Mrs. Brinley-Codd.

MR. MORRIS: If Mrs. Brinley-Codd wants to copy it? It was
served about a year ago, I believe.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What I suggest is let Mrs. Brinley-Codd have
my copy for the time being while she checks to see if she
has it. If she does not have it, then perhaps she would
not mind making sufficient copies for her own team. Just
leave it there for the moment. Could you hand it back to
Mrs Brinley-Codd, and when Mrs. Brinley-Codd has made as
many copies as she requires then I will take a copy of it.
I could not find it, although you referred to it in
argument over soya when I looked through the papers,
I could not find it anywhere, Mr. Rampton, I remember, it
did not appear to mean anything to him at the time.

Let us start your cross-examination with Mr. Nicholson.

               MR. SIDNEY THOMAS NICHOLSON, recalled.
                 Cross-Examined by the Defendants.

MR. MORRIS: If I could ask one question before Ms. Steel comes
in, there was just one particular document we were a bit
confused about. (To the witness): Do you happen to know
what "YTD" stands for in the crew turnover?
