     5   THE WITNESS:  Yes, towards the bottom, yes, it is about seventh
     6        from the bottom in the list.  Then there is a list that
     7        says:  Number of fatal injuries, non-fatal major injuries.
     8        Those are specified under the regulations as having to be
     9        notified immediately to the enforcement authorities within
    10        24 hours -- immediately by telephone, apologies.  They
    11        include things like break of a major bone in the body or
    12        amputation or something along those lines. Then there is
    13        the fatal major injuries rate per 100,000 employees.  Now,
    14        this gives 219.4 per 100,000 employees.

    19   Q.   But then we have to include the over three day injuries as
    20        well?
         A.  That is right.

    24        A.  All reported injuries are 25 per 1,000, yes.

    27        A.  Yes, we have distribution, hotels and catering.

         A.  Yes, Recipe for Catering is obviously a different
    42        statistical base.

    45        A.  I say the figures I quoted from Recipe for Catering,
    46        I presume, use a different statistical base.

    49        A.  The HSE publication Recipe for Catering that I quoted
    50        from yesterday when I quoted a figure of 31 per 1,000, 
    51        I can assure you, is accurate, and it is obviously a 
    52        slightly different base from this one.

    54   Q.   What do you mean by a "different base"?
    55        A.  Well, this here said -- this is all reported, as
    56        reported to all enforcement authorities.  I presume that
    57        includes local authorities.  I suspect that Recipe for
    58        Safety is figures reported to the Health and Safety
    59        Executive alone which would account for a slight difference
    60        in figures.
