     9        prosecuted?"

    15   MR. MORRIS:  I am not sure you have got the right one.

    17   MR. JUSTICE BELL: Divider 6, which is right near the back of the
    18        bundle.  Do you have a divider 6?
    19        A.  There are actually two divider 6s.

    MR. JUSTICE BELL:   Could you get me the bundle, please?
    22        Divider 6 is completely different to my divider 6.  That is
    23        the document which Mr. Morris wants you to look at, but the
    24        layout of divider 6 is completely different to mine; it has
    25        dividers within divider 6, and it starts with a different
    26        document.  So perhaps some check can be made in due
    27        course.

    29   MR. RAMPTON:  My Lord, I have revisited this on a number of
    30        occasions.  May I ask that we proceed in the correct manner
    31        so far as this part of the cross-examination is concerned;
    32        that is to say, Mr. Morris puts questions instead of
    33        reading out chunks of inadmissible newspaper cuttings?

    35   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  Remember what the procedure is.  Put your
    36        suggestion; if you do not like the answer, without
    37        identifying the document, ask Mr. Mehigan to read it and
    38        ask him if that changes his mind at all.

         if you could just read the document, I would appreciate
    42        it.  It is not very long.
    43        A.  (Pause)  Yes.

    45   Q.   In your statement, you said that you were inspected by the
    46        Ministry of Labour.  You have said that just before you
    47        commented on something happening in July 1979 at that
    48        meeting with Mr. Michael Mullen.  You said -----

    55        A.  I cannot recollect.

    58        on, for example, possible violations of youth employment
    59        laws?
    60        A.  Not very often, from memory.
