Day 236 - 17 04 96 - Page 3
Day 236
MR. MORRIS: And on page 7, the second line, it says: "Five
inquiry agents, including Mr. Carroll". I do not think
Mr. Carroll was an inquiry agent.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No. I will put Mr. Nicholson.

MR. MORRIS: Mr. Carroll.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mr. Carroll. Yes. Thank you very much.

MS. STEEL: The only other thing which I would like to mention
is on page 21. I have not checked the transcripts but
I think that in sub-paragraph (H) said that it would be the
same as sub-paragraph (G) and it should read:

"Sub-paragraph (H) alleges that if, which is denied,
the Defendant's by virtue of their involvement".

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Indeed, but it is only a summary of the
effect of it.

MS. STEEL: OK.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: And the sub-paragraph (H) to which I in fact
gave leave is to form the form which you dictated to me in
court.

MS. STEEL: Right. OK.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Whereas I have directly quoted some others
I have not done that with (H) and that is no more than the
summary of what I thought was the gist of it.

MS. STEEL: Thank you. Actually I have noticed there is
another "Plaintiffs" to "Defendants" on page 25.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Page?

MS. STEEL: 25, or "Defendants" to "Plaintiffs" actually. In
the second full paragraph, third line from the bottom of
that paragraph, it says:

"The Defendants have held back from writing to the
group".

It should be "the Plaintiffs" on page 25.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, thank you.

MR. MORRIS: There is another one as well.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do actually read each of the
transcriptions. I am grateful for that, because I made a
note of those. I do read the transcriptions through and
I hope I picked up any other inconsequential errors.

MR. MORRIS: There is one other I can find on page 13, if it
helps. It is the first full paragraph, fifth line, it says
"whatsoever and wheresoever"; presumably it is
"whensoever".
