  Q. And it is a photocopy made by London Greenpeace, is it not?
       A. I do not know. I do not remember photocopying this.
What are you trying to say? I do not know.

  Q. Am I not right that what, in fact, happened was the leaflet
itself was six-sided, which was not got up like that but it
was a fold-out leaflet, they were beginning to be in short
supply towards the end of 1989, copies were made, which is
cheap and easy, for the purpose of demonstrations and for
       the fayre in 1989?
       A. Well, there is nothing on this to say that it was done
for 1989. This could have been done at any time and, to
the best of my knowledge, copies were not photocopied and
taken to the fayre in 1989. To the best of my knowledge.
I certainly did not do it. I did not see anyone else do it
       either.

  Q. Was there a copying machine in the office at 5 Caledonian
       Road or not?
       A. No.

  Q. So where was the copying done when it needed to be?
       A. At various places.

  Q. Locally, I suppose, because it is easier, is it not?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Can you put that down now and make sure it does not get
       lost?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Could I just ask one thing, Mr. Rampton, you
may not want to answer it, but is there any risk of your
clients taking any action against anyone for something like
copying these leaflets at the time you are asking questions
about? The reason I ask, and again you need not answer,
and for all I know you have no authority to answer anyway,
is that I have raised it now with Mr. Gravett but I can see
exactly the same thing might arise if either Ms. Steel or
Mr. Morris gives evidence, that there may be a reluctance
to answer a question such as the one you have just asked
with a specific answer. You have been perfectly content
with places locally, if it is thought that it might be
landing someone in the mire by saying just who did it. Do
       you understand?

MR. RAMPTON: The answer is I have not got authority.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: No.

MR. RAMPTON: Let me say I think it is almost quite
inconceivable, quite apart from the statute of
       limitations.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That is what I thought. You understand what
       I just asked?
       A. I do, yes.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.
