: So, I avoided eating meat, even though I kinda' like it. But don't plants have feelings too? Then I started to think back to when gramma taught me the bible. It said that we are supposed to eat locusts and stuff. So what are we supposed to eat? Anyway... Yeah, I'm done

Plants don't have any feelings. According to almost every scientist. There is really nothing that says they have.

The bible. There is a christian (or jewish?) organisation who claims that Jesus was a vegetarian. Maybe you can find them on the net. Try this sentence: "Was jesus a vegetarian?" and you might find that site.

Andrew Linzey is an interesting person. He holds professorship in theology and protection of animals (the only one in the world) at Mansfield College in Oxford, England. I've got an article with an interview with him from 1996 when he was in Sweden. I can translate some parts for you, if you would like that.

Kind regards!

Björn
