Well DT, I can help you out here since I live in MPLS! I have never had the vampire desire for a rare burger, but I know people who have, and they have had absolutly no problem finding an abundance of raw hamburger at the GROCERY STORE(novel, eh?) Then of course there are the thousands of restaurants in my metro area that WILL serve you a rare burger! Just a thought, could there be any health factor involved in that refusal for rare that you got? I imagine that some food establishments prefer a good healthy customer record. And eatting raw meat is not often considered a healthy thing. Thats why fire is so handy for killing germs.
