Socialism, particularly it's anarchist varients, is historically anti-statist, anti-centralist, anti-authoritarian. When Soclaists complain about the paranoid fuckers with Guns they arent excluding the state but the state is an institute that is accountable to the people unlike John Doe the Gun Nut the greatest threat to Liberty on the Planet.
By the way if it wasnt for Guns etc. your country might have been in the hands of those it belonged to the native american indians, the orginal nations of your land which lived a very good life without a rifle or a firearm in sight.
