Don't believe what you read in that website. I have seen it and it is false. Although homosexuality IS a sin (and gross) God does not, in any way, shape or form hate anybody. God loves EVERYBODY, that is why Jesus went to the cross. Everybody has sinned one way or another (like by being gay for example) but everyone can find forgiveness and eternal life if only they trust in Jesus for forgiveness and eternal life. The one thing that shocked me the most when I saw that website a long time ago was that is not the website of a cult group, but a mainline Christian denomination (I think it was Southern Baptist). While your there, email them and say that God loves everybody.
