We (in general) are no better than they. These people only perform the experiments because our money (and hence, support) keeps coming in. We buy the products that were tested on these animals. If we don't buy these products, we buy other products from the same company, and the money goes to them just the same. The solution is not to take the testers away---more will take there place as long as we, the consumers, keep demanding the perfect apple, the shampoos that do all the fancy chemical things to our hairs, the dyes, scents, and let us not forget, the cures we expect and scream for if we don't get. Sometimes life is hard and we may not look like the people on TV and we might not live to be 107 years old having with two fake hips, no teeth, false hair, layers of cream on our faces, and a chimp's heart, but we will go out having exerted our consumer power. Boycotts work, and they are the only things that do, since money is all that matters to corporations as large and alienated from life as these.

If you want to make a difference:

1) Go without
2) Use less if you MUST use any
3) Read your labels and look for the animal friendly symbols
4) Shop at cruelty free stores
5) Notify larger corporations of your actions
