: Well, half of the abortions performed in the U.S. are performed at a time in the pregnancy when the baby is pretty much fully developed and can survive outside the womb. Have you ever seen a picture of an aborted baby? I have, and it made me sick. It was a tiny human being with its head and some of its limbs ripped off the body.

No you are completely wrong! Most abortion clinics will not perform abortions past 3-4 months of pregnancy, so if a person waited that long they would have to most likely drive to another state to get one. The propaganda you saw was obviously similar to some that I have seen and the facts are quite distorted according to the interests of those who publish them. I have seen live ultra-sounds of a 3 month pregnancy and you know what I saw? NOTHING, honest. Not even a little tiny dot! If you have ever closely observed a new baby you will likely note that it is very unaware and as most know, even toddlers can take tumbles unphased that would put an adult out of commision, not to mention the immune system is not developed either, which is why they are so prone to illness....some of the reasons I find this line of reasoning rediculous, and once again adult animals of other species feel far more pain than a human fetus.

: Oh, I am soo sorry for putting the rights of human beings before the rights of animals. Most of the time animals are killed for our benefit. Killing a baby has no benefits that I can see.

Why do I always have to restate this?? Humans are ANIMALS! Of the primate species along with apes, monkeys, lemurs, lorises, galagos, and tarsiers. You may find no benefit from abortion but obviously someone does or there wouldn't be any! Of course even if you are not sorry for valueing other animal species now you surely will be soon. Deforestation has the power to effect us all.

: What does having access to a computer have to do with killing anything?

You can't work that out for yourself? UGH!! What do you think being an industrialized nation entails? Alot of deforestation, pollution, animal testing, resource depletion.....

: : Sure we could walk to work and the store like people did before there were cars and sure we know that many animals died to make these roads we drive on, etc. etc. etc. But we do it any way. Could you starve your own dog? No? well then how could you participate in the starving of other animals? It's a gift we humans have.
: : There is no way to explain someone elses circumstances and choices in a comprehensive way if you have already decided not to comprehend.

: :Luckily abortion is legal and no one elses business but the individuals otherwise we'd be back to the days of back alleys and coat hangers.

: Why then is it everyones business when a mother or father kills thier newborn baby and goes to jail, yet when a mother has an abortion it's her choice and no one else's business? Essentially they are both the same thing.

Maybe to you they are.

: The fact that hindu's don't eat beef is a religious and cultural thing, and has nothing to do with abortion. Even though my religion is against abortion, it is not merely a religious topic. It is a matter of life and death to a baby.

OK even you had to see the contradiction in this line of reasoning. I am sure the fact that life is sacred to hindu's is very much along the same lines...life and death. Your statement did not really make sense.

: Well I would hope that that kind of decision would be difficult and painful to make, at least that shows that the mother has a little bit of a conscience. Did it ever occur to you that the reason why so many women feel guilty after making such a decision is because they finally realized that they killed thier child? And as for it being thier choice; if I choose to kill someone, does that make it right?

You pressume much to hope to know what a pregnant woman thinks or feels, or a woman period! As a woman I find this very insulting and disgusting.I feel if a soul is meant to enter this realm, it will one way or another. As for RIGHT, (UGH!!!) right is a perception, an individuals perception.

: The biggest (and weakest) arguement by pro-choicers is that a woman should have the right to do what ever she wants to do to her own body. I agree that men and women should be allowed to do whatever they want to thier own bodies, but abortion is something that happens to the baby, not the mother. It is the babies body and life. So even though a woman might think she is simply just "ending her pregnancy" she is actually ending someone else's life

Once again INSULTING and DISGUSTING!!! Without a womans body and her choice there would be NO BABY! No you, no me, etc. 'Abortion doesn't happen to the mother'?? Once AGAIN you contradict yourself! Abortion is a very painful process, physically and emotionally. So is raising a child in an unhealthy environment. Abortion only happens to the fetus once, yet is a decision the mother must be willing to live with her whole life. And thank our lucky stars it is a decision that has nothing to do with you! Like I said before, there is no real point arguing with you about this because you have locked your mind on one idea and decided not to consider anything else!
