: Of course you do. I imagine you view your whole imposition on this gorgeous planet as a shortcoming.

Hmmmm.... It's that shocking to you that not all people enjoy blood and guts for dinner, that was prepared with violence and the death of a beautiful animal? Guess it doesn't seem that far fetched to me. If one is starving hey, eat whats there but gluttony is gluttony.

: It's OK unless everyone chooses it. That would be really unnatural, eh? No taste for it? Maybe you're normal.

Maybe your a bigot.(sorry McSpotlight, I couldn't resist)

: Yeah, we ought to just throw that word out. You wouldn't want to have to judge anyone. For the record, Webster suits me just fine.

It would! Webster has never been regarded as the most accurate dictionary. If you want to judge with your definition of superiority, boy, you would be at the bottom of the list. What special thing can you do that sets you apart? Think deep thoughts?hahaha Each animal has it's own special 'superior' aspect that sets them apart. But mans just happens to sadly be an overblown ego. It's too crushing to imagine oneself as an equal, eh? You said it yourself, energy is energy.

: Well, you could argue whether they were right. All recorded history has man as an omnivore.

And you could argue man is not physicaly (as superior, haha)equipped to eat meat either,as well as vegies, etc. This position is widely held, shocking as it may seem to you. Doctors recommend vegi diets. Are they satan worshippers then, in your book? Not wanting to 'take advantage'of the abundance god has provided? Provide yourself with a heart attack. History has us industrialized fatties as having high heart disease rates too.

: If you wish to eat the quality of grain they feed cattle, go ahead. We are not talking about high quality stuff here. I'm sick of this argument. I will never feel guilty for enjoying prosperity Nikhil. That is a gift from God. I should share my prosperity with those poor that are within my personal contact. But the shame of ignoring the poor that are not within my reach falls on those who are within reach but fail to help.

Are you for real? ASSININE! Share!? HA! Share what we stole you mean? How do you think america and europe founded their wealth? If it weren't for the slave trade the poverty-wealth situation would be quite reversed! It's a gift from SLAVE LABOR not god!!!!!Not to mention that sounds like a pretty ungodly attitude, only sharing with those next door. 'what would Jesus do?': ) As for low quality grain as an excuse, you must know there is alot more to it than that? Where do you think this grain is grown? , On cleared land! It all comes back to bite you in the ass in the end, because the damage caused ultimatly harms you. It's quite a cycle, didn't you learn about it in school? It's called ecosystem.

: I was being sarcastic. Man is not an animal and he is obligated to follow God's moral code. His capacity for evil is as great as his ability to temporarily ignore God.

OK maybe you are an exception. Maybe YOU are not an animal. But please do take a survey and see how many humans you can find that regard themselves of the animal kingdom. Did you get in any fights with your science teachers over this in highschool? If we are 'created in gods image' and just happen to be very very VERY similar to other animals, what did god look like? AN ANIMAL!

: Yeah, the data that proves stop signs are really green is also currently insufficient.

Yes, and that you are NOT an animal (you and the elephant man)

: 1. If my position on homosexuality isn't allowed to be based on ecclesiastical standards then your above religious rationalizations for vegetarianism aren't either.
: 2. Your claims of the environmental impact of meat consumption are dubious at best and over exaggerated leftist nonsense at worst. Energy is neither created or destroyed - only manipulated.

Please pull your head out. The environmental 'claim' is very widely held as obvious.

: 3. Your not even buying the health argument.
: 4. The secular animal rights movement uses their own contrived morality as a tool to manipulate emotions and behavior but will not accept that morality is nothing when it is based soley on their relativistic feelings : Then it's natural to eat meat as well.
: I'm only suggesting that it is intellectually dishonest to offer the animal kingdom as an argument to support homosexual behavior in humans and then ignore the animal kindom when discussing meat.

I think we are talking physical design here. There is no evidence that homosexual activity can kill you or seriosly damage you health. There is much evidence that meat eating can kill you and damage your health.

: We disagree. Sex outside of a marriage is wrong. Homosexual marriage does not even exist.

Either did hetero marriage until man invented it. And yes, homosexual marriage does exist. I know some gay married individuals personally.

: If the instinct to procreate and to eat are just about as basic an urge as can be had, why is the male animal who trys to have sex with another male justification for homosexuality and the animal who eats the other not justification for me to eat meat?

Duh! Once again, ecosystem. It doesn't cause damage to the earth for males of any species to have sex, for one. And other animals that eat meat have much better physical design for this and also it is likely not in excessive gluttony on their part as it is with most humans. You only need a small amount of protien to survive, which can more easily be aquired from non meat sources.

: Fully accepted is not the truth. Tolerated would be a better choice don't you think? But let the homosexual make an advance to you and we will see whether you accept it or not.

I personally have had such advances made on me, and it was done in a much less offensive manner each time than many of the very rude insulting hetero advances i've experienced.
