: the sad thing to me is wondering why men allow women to be portrayed like this. you all say that you don't like skinny women,and that you're not impressed with plasitic breasts. but why does this keep appearing in the media? it's appealing to somebody apparently because it won't seem to go away. and why do anorexic women with breast implants always have men?2 reasons
1. We (humans; men and women alike) are animals with animal instincts. Unfortunately I can not say I would prefer "Ally Mcbeal" to say...Pam Anderson or Some other bimbette. However this is strictly a physical and uncontrollable reaction.
2. Secondly, the great big machine of media and advertising has our tiny little minds poisoned from reality.
As far as you big brother or father argument goes...I see that as being more tribal or emotional than a reaction out of intellect.
Women are the same way. You still cannot effectively pin all the ills of the world on men because I could site many women who trivialize sex and relationships as much as men I know or worse.
