Well, Stuart, since you bring up the bible YET AGAIN (pretending the conversation was about something it was not--- we were after all discussing dictionaries, because you brought them up, and for some reason claimed that the definitions therein would support your arguments) I will argue further. I believe in your bible (I could be wrong since I have made a point of not keeping one in my house anymore, and am not yet willing to go find one in the library) it actually condones slavery and racism, not to mention mysogyny. Hmmm... was it Ephesians that portrayed women as vile, unclean creatures, unintelligent to the extreme, and not worthy of any respect? Do you condone this viewpoint? Your lily-white bible has been the source of many an opressive law and I would hope you rebel against at least some of its taught values, the ownership of (fairly treated) slaves, for one.

You truly are a contortionist, and I am truly too sick of it right this second to find exactly how you are warping this argument to suit you.
