I'm not Stuart, but may I respond to your post anyway?: Why is it Stuart will not respond to my posts? Is it because I am female? I do not understand. It seems certain posts and parts of posts are ignored(like the ones that make the most sense)
: I'm still waiting for a more convincing stance for his meat eating-homosexuality arguement. Since he is repeating himself, I feel compelled to also. Once again, homosexuality does not cause physical harm as meat comsumption ie;heart congestion, etc., does. Also it is consentual.
I agree that homosexual activity may not cause harm to people not involved in it, but it can and does cause harm to people who partake in such activities, after all they are destroying thier own bodies and souls, not ours. It's not just homosexuality that is a destructive sexual sin. Sex outside of marraige and sex to others who are married to someone else are wrong too. God told us that we are to abstain from all this. Why? Because he loves us and he knows what will happen to us if we do wrong. He knows that if we give in to temptation and sin sexually, we are going to hurt ourselves. Do you want examples? OK If you are a girl who doesnt want to get pregnant while in high school-don't have sex till your married. Are you a guy that doesn't want to be a father now-wait till marraige. Do you want to contract any STD such as aids? Of course you don't. The solution? Have sex with only people of the opposite sex, and only when you are married. After all, HIV started in the gay community. If you ignore God's word and decide you like having extra-marital affairs, or you like being gay, then don't come crying to me when the doctor tells you you have some kind of disease. Pleeeease don't get me wrong-I'm not saying that diseases are good or something God uses to cure people of sin. And I am not saying that gay people deserve it, because they have the same chance to turn away from sin as you or I do.What I am saying is that if you are foolish enough to be gay or whatever, you are playing with fire. You know the consequences of your actions and you are taking a big risk and your life is at stake. Finally, and I've said this 100 times before, I don't care if your gay or not, I wouldn't treat you any differently. After all its your life, however homosexuality is not the norm nor is it right and so gay people should not be so open about it in front of regular people. If your gay, fine, just say your gay and leave it at that. You don't need to be marching in parades down 5th Ave every March 17 and you don't need to be "coming out" on TV. Thank God Ellen got cancelled, and for good reason.
As for eating meat, it may not be as healthy as veggies, but there's nothing wrong with it. In fact, it tastes good.
