What is with your hateful homophobia, Stuart? Where exactly do you get off saying things like homosexual promiscuity hurts people? And what has that to do with homosexual relationships? Heterosexual promiscuity can cause just as much hurt, emotionally, physically, etc. Homosexuality in and of itself is not hurtful to other people. Homophobia, in and of itself, DOES hurt people physically, mentally, and emotionally. Your self-righteous religious preaching has obviously blinded you to that, and your insistence that guilt died 2000 years ago is what allows you to remain wilfully blind without conscience.

As for superiority (sorry for my absence, I know you missed me) your definitions and justifications are completely objective, there is no inherent or subjective truth to them, and even at that, the examples you choose are so bizarre, they leave me dizzy.

You speak of your ability to squash bugs (while stressing your lack of desire to do so) as proof of your superiority. Surely, if the scorpion chose to, it could sneak up to your car whilst you slept, wait in a crack in the door, and sting you to death when you came out to go to work in the morning. So what? And I could, if I chose to, buy a gun, track you down, and put a laser scope to your forehead (while choosing not to pull the trigger). By your twisted violence-based logic, the gun-wielding children in Littleton and Taber and Jonesboro were superior humans, as was Hitler for that matter. You frighten me.

Dolphins don't have libraries because they lack the motor skills to write, and I'm sure they are perfectly content with their auditory communication. They are not obsessed with always aiming for bigger, better, faster. Nor is any other species. We lack the motor skills and apendages to flit from tree to tree or to swim underwater on a whim in the iciest of oceans. Why, if we are superior, have we not evolved bodily to be able to do so? Since I cannot afford a MIG or a submarine, am I inferior?

As for your insistence that the scientific community is still in deep debate about the reality of global warming, the same could be said about whether smoking causes cancer. Even in the last couple of years, scientists have insisted that smoking is not harmful to one's health. Who are these scientists? Are they credible? Depends whether being on the payroll of Phillip Morris reduces their integrity. The story is the same with those who say global warming is not a concern. These people tend to be either industry hired scientists or selfish citizens who wish to continue driving their Chryslers to work every day without residual guilt from the days of yore. Stuart, are you one of those people who deny the harmful effects of smoking? Aren't you glad that, way, way back when, those few crazy people didn't give up fighting to prove the links between smoking and ill-health?

Sorry about your ill-will towards the UN. Environmentally speaking, you must admit they are among the more conservative bodies world-wide. (After all, they represent all our governments.) Seems to me if an environmentally conservative body such as the UN unanimously finds global warming to be a real threat, then it might be time to at least listen, and possibly give them the benefit of the doubt, before it's too late.
