: :DDN: The message seems clear to me: We're not supposed to be eating pigs, cows or processed foods. Does anyone have another explanation as to why these people are so physically fit and beautiful?

: Why are we not suppossed to be consuming pigs and cows, but we are to consume chicken and fish. Chicken has essentially the same nutritional composition as red meat and fish are contaminated with so many toxins, I don't even have the time right now to post about them.

DDN: This is obviously a huge subject. I was simply making an observation and what I thought was a fairly sound inference based on that observation - that is unless you think that diet has no signifigant baring on what your body looks like.

I'd like to challenge your claim that chicken is essentailly the same as read meat. Obviously there is some signifigant difference between the two, otherwise chickens would look, act, and taste more like cows or cows would look, act, and taste more like chickens. Obviously fat is a consideration when comparing chicken and fish to red meat. Certainly the latter has more.

You do raise a good point though: It could be a difference in the way fish and chicken are produced here and abroad. Most chickens in the U.S. are produced under factory conditions using the latest "technologies" (drugs, torture, etc.) Thailand has lots of small farms that I'm sure have simpler purer means of raising and handling chickens - they certainly taste alot better (at least they did to me). I know fish can be loaded with toxins in the U.S., but is such the case in Thailand? I can't say that I know one way or the other, but the people sure are beautiful compared to our fat, diseasesd, cellulite laden asses.

Something else that is consistently different in their diet: Peppers. They're food is damned hot morning, noon, and night. Just something else to consider. Also, as I've said before, they don't eat nearly as much meat (of ANY kind) as we do in the U.S.

Maybe you need to actually BE there to appreciate what I'm talking about here. Their skin - its just not like ours. Its not just that its a different color, it has a luster, a smoothness that you see usually only on 15 year olds over here, and yet even the elderly are often endowed with the same in Thailand. I saw two "fat" people in 5 weeks. Every other person I see in the U.S. is overweight or even obese.
The Thai are slender and tone to almost every last man woman and child. They've never lost a war. The slimiest Thai person I met was twice the human being of the average American. Diet has got to play a role here.
