DDN: Yes, and this begs the question I've posed in a later thread: Why would the U.S. government, with access to the best scientific minds in the world, spend the last 30 years pushing a diet on us that causes a wide variety of nutrition (health) problems? And aren't they still making similar high carbohydrate recommendations today?
