: I am responding to Jeremy Cook's genious statement about eating human vs. meat, etc. To begin with, meat IS able to be digested in our bodies correctly. Just ask a DOC.

(this isn't really my argument but...)

Yes our bodies can digest it, such assertions though deal only with the mechanics of the matter. They do not tell us if it is 'good' for us or not. We can digest alcohol, in the mechanical sense but experience shows that it is not always 'good' for us. (This point is so banal i wonder why i bother?)

: Secondly, we are not destroying habitats in order to eat meat. That's what farms are for, Mr.Brain. Granted, there may be a few cases that go against generality, however most meat-eaters don't go into the wild forests to destroy herds of zebra and warthogs. Think about it.

HMMMM, let me think. AMAZON. I beleive they have a few farms there (for cattle farming). Maybe you should ask some of the Indians who've been displaced, they'd be able to tell you better than me about how the FOREST IS BEING DESTROYED (if memopry serves McDs was associated with this).

: Finally, I would just like to let you know that I am a meat fanatic. I love the Prime Quarter, and so do millions, so I suggest to you: GET OVER IT!

Well whoopy doo. Is meat consumption associated with dementia perchance?
