: What's this fascination with JC? That was 2000 years ago, time to move on...

Capitalism dates from some time ago too but hey it's kinda stuck. What would you suggest I move on from "Christianity" (I really believe in a form of anarchist deism with a christian-humanist tint)to?

: Oh give me a break. Atheism means complete denial of any metaphysic, so i don't see how it can be religion.

Oh and all religions are metaphysical? I think it's buddism and hinduism, definitely Taoism, which are religions which dont believe in the after life, in the case of Toaism they dont believe in spirituality in the sense of the paranormal at all.

The way modern athiests prolestise etc. is akin to any evangelist, take the fact that in and of itself athieism doesnt actually exist, the most prominant magazines etc. I've read all santer about religion particulary, in western fashion, christianity, but is a reaction to something it's very like any other "Faith".

You cant prove the existance of a deity but then you cant disprove it either each requires a leap of faith at some stage.

: That there is no God can be inferred simply via empirical observation. That everything seems so complex (and requires an invisible hand to exist) is just a fact derived from our humanocentric point of view.

See above, what about the New Age believes in Gia or earth spirits that arent humanocentric at all? Accepted that the convential religions often use human iconagraphy but that is a hang over from when people actually believed, as in Rome, Celtic Ireland or Britain and Greece, that people of great wisdom or war expertise where Gods incarnate rather than deliberation.
