Hello Tuuli;
Try a search of the Talkorigins archive (one of my personal favorite sites...after McS, of course) Foley has some great articles and discussions about the significance of embryology in hominid evolution.

For a medical perspective, the U. of New South Wales has a site detailing the developmental stages in human embryology

The Society for Developmental Biology at Purdue also has an excellent collectionof the physical details of growth.

Finally, Scott Gilbert's "Zygote" site at Sarthmore is bothinformative and visually quite stunning.

Enjoy. Science is cool, eh?
