: DDN: How have you made the determination that they have not seized any countries? I thought they were a "SECRET" society. The fact that we DON'T know about them taking over any countries may be a testament to their competence, no? Hah Ha! Good point! I hate it when madness and illogic are the most rational, reasonable approaches to a problem! ;-) There are two schools of thought concerning the existence of a vast global conspiracy, AFAIK.
1) the state of the world is so screwed up right now, that it's blatantly clear that nobody is really running things, and therefore there is no global conspiracy.
OR
2)the state of the world is so screwed up right now, that it's blatantly clear that it couldn't have got this bad unless some vast global conspiracy was trying to make it that way.
I admit to going back and forth between these two hypotheses, but I tend to favor the former. Thanks for the laughs, I think I'm going to have to re-read my Robert Anton Wilson novels again now.
