I liked what you said, but you shouldn't say it's okay to test on rats because they carry diseases. Some of my best friends (human, that is) carry diseases too, and I've been known to come to work with a cold. That's no excuse to test on people, then, is it?

Rats feel pain and fear as well as dogs and cats. In fact, plenty of folks keep rats as pets and love them for their affectionate ways. They would never allow them to be tortured in medical or cosmetics labs.

: Would you you wan't your childern teasting on? would you wan't what is done to those animals to be done to you, the chemimals in the eyes and on bair skin? Its crual and inhumeain to do such thangs.
: You can judge a scioty by how it treats its animals, how can we say we are the most civilzed people in the world. By that I mean Americas
: Europie exc. Do the tribes in Africa do this to thear animals? No I think not.
: All I'm saying is that dog and cats are pets, not excsperamts, but rats may be the exsipton, they cary deisise and what not, but I just have a big probleam with testing products I use every day, that don't heart my, on animals. Look I'm only 18 and just a student, but this is what I feal so strongly about.

: Thank you
