: : This has got to be one of the most ridiculous questions that Ive ever heard. You might as well ask "How do you know cows dont fly?". Any reasonably intellegent person cannot possibly believe that a blade of grass,an eggplant, etc.. have any capacity whatsoever to feel physical pain or have any cognitive ability to comprehend pain or any other circumstance it may be subjected to.

: You seem to think I'm being stupid about this, I'm not I'm perfectly genuine and science has proven my point thier are trees in Africa or somewhere that when eaten by animals give of a chemical that makes other plants of the same species aware of thier plight and these plants guard themselves by sprouting temporary thorns.

Heres another "insult" for you; First of all you should get your facts straight before giving an unclear example of how "science has proven 'your' point" about some trees in "Africa or somewhere" sprouting thorns due to a chemical signal from another tree. And lets assume that is a true scenerio: Big fucken deal. What does that have to do w/ the topic of plants feeling pain or having the ability to register pain in any way remotely similar to mamals? That supposed example gives no indication that plants can or do feel pain, it only possibly suggests that the plant has evloved a defense against attack. You dont know what you are talking about and you proceed to verbally dance around instead of giving definative answers to specific questions. Your arguments are invalid and dont merrit any other response.
