It's violent minds not violent games

: I have read elsewhere that many of the boys responsible were avid video game fans, that they routinely played target shooting games, and that they had better accuracy than your average law enforcement officer. Any thoughts on this?

There is nothing wrong with playing video games that involve shooting, and if someone is an avid fan of course they will improve their accuracy. But shooting a real weapon is a bit different. Usually one is suddenly forced to think about what they are shooting at, and the impact it will have. Shooting is not wrong, it's dangerous people that give it a bad name. Shooting people is wrong, but it is only carried out by the dangerous minded, not the 'dangerous gun.' This is why i oppose the current gun laws in Australia. A few people wrecked it or all of us.
