yes, it's true that kids that have seen more violent media tend to be more violent, that im not going to deny. What i will say, however is that people with strong socal ties tend to do better, as i said in an earlier post, the reason that there is so much volence out there is because there is "no" help avaiable (there is 1 counslor to every 400 students). I have only ever seen my counslor once, and that was for a scedule change, and i have been going to my school for 1.25 years as of friday nov. 5 1999. Without anything else to guide them, what the hell do you thinks going to happen? if the only message in your ear was kill, you would probibly end up doing it. The fact of the matter is tht most of these people are socal rejects that have no personal life other than te internet and other scattered teens in the school. But until the taxpayers put up the money to get more counslors, this sort of thing is going to keep happening and people are going to keep wondering why. and i'll tell you we are underfunded, no matter what anyone says. BTW, I am a 15 year old middle class white american attending nathian hale high school, if you don't believe this, our school has it's own web site, and you should be able to find a student roster (though im not sure that there is one)
