I don't have to be presumptuous.

I don't have to be presumptuous. Would it be presumptuous to pretend to know the will of a deceased individual if we read his will and handled his estate in accordance with it or to know the will mind of my dad by reading a letter which he wrote in which he clearly stated what he likes, dislikes, wants, etc.?

Nor is it presumptuous to pretend to know the mind of God if I read His letter (the Bible) and gain an understanding of Him from it.
