: : : But you haven't disproved Genesis. You've overlooked the fact that someone may pick out the currents.

: : Because this is unprovable one way or the other. I'm arguing physical processes; and you cannot cite physical processes as logical proof of the alogical, non-physical and unprovable; either you believe or you don't.

: : For what it's worth, as Floyd points out, Genesis contradicts itself. And since it is unfalsfiable, it isn't a matter of science; it's a matter of faith; and thus Genesis cannot be used to provide "proof" of anything; because proof is a logical concept, not a matter of faith.

: : The challenge still stands; and you're back to Square 1.

:
: Yes, Floyd "pointed out" that Genesis 2 contradicts Genesis 1. But he didn't say how. I've had others before say that the Bible contradicts itself, but I've never found or come across a contradiction which remains a contradiction when studied out. You're apparent contradictions don't actually exist.

Acts 5:29 We ought to obey God rather than men.

Just as you can make any sentence you like from the dictionary by choosing certain words, you can prove any point you want by juggling the millions of concepts in the Bible. This is something that ardent Christians are adept at."

- I took some care to include contradictions that were in the same Testament; I know the Old and New Testaments are different books.

As for the Genesis contradiction, in Chapter 1 the animals are listed as being created before Adam; in Chapter 2 they are listed as being created after Adam for Adam's use.

Anyway; this is irrelevant to my challenge; I was just responding to your message.

Gideon.
