Definitely contradictory. If "these WERE his last words," it can't be a paraphrase. Paraphrases carry meanings, not exact words.

At any rate, the proper words were, "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit."

By the way, intentionally misquoting someone is not considered a nice thing to do.
