: Funny, I can get the exact same experience WITHOUT a gun, and know what? The ducks like me better than they like you.

Realy funny, because you can't get the same experience, it's not the same, it can't be the same. You can only understand this if you have been duck hunting.

: So what you are saying is you respect humans but not animals, because you don't kill humans but do kill animals. That's nice. Know what? There are a lot of people out there (I'm glad to hear you are not one of them) who do not respect certain other human elements of society. For example, people who are racist or sexist. Many of these people already have no problem killing these humans whom they see as less than human. Many more among these DO NOT kill humans, but they might if the laws were different.

I respect both humans and animals and plants, the difference is in the value of their lives. And if you don't agree with me in saying that the life of a plant or an animal is less then a human then you are a liar.

: So why do you kill? Just for food? Does it sadden you when you kill an animal, or does it make you happy? Being completely honest here, when you feel happy about it, is it because you have food to eat or is it a conquest thing?

When i kill an animal with a clean shot without wounding the animal and killing it instantly i am happy. If i wound the animal and don't kill it instantly i am sad for the animal because it has to suffer for something i did. Being completely honest, If the duck dies instantly i am happy because i have food to eat, an animal didn't have to suffer, and the conquest thing. Thats always a part of it but with me it is never the only part.
