Now I'm a liar?

HaP: "Realy funny, because you can't get the same experience, it's not the same, it can't be the same. You can only understand this if you have been duck hunting."

Riiiiigggggghhhhhht... whatever you say. It's not the same. It can't be the same because, and only because I'm not pumping lead (or some alloy) into the ducks. Aside from this, there is no difference except for yours and my individual interpretation of the situation. I would venture to guess that EVERYONE would interpret an experience with ducks somewhat differently. That's what makes us unique. But clinging to the uniqueness of your experience cannot and does not justify your violence.

HaP: "I respect both humans and animals and plants, the difference is in the value of their lives. And if you don't agree with me in saying that the life of a plant or an animal is less then a human then you are a liar."

Um... no offence, but who the fuck are you to call me a liar? You have never met me, and you have condemned me without any trial. I love the cats who live with me more than I love you or most humans. To me, their lives are more precious, as are the lives of certain humans I care for. Does this mean I think they have more RIGHT to live or that their lives are WORTH more? No. Regardless of what you think of me (and I have gone on record in this forum numerous times saying the same thing and all my close friends know this of me) I do not consider human life any more or less significant or valuable than any other form of life on this planet, be it deer, moose, dog, cat, loon, oak tree, dung beetle, or some friggin' hunter. Don't you tell me things about myself, unless you're going to ask some questions first.

HaP: "When i kill an animal with a clean shot without wounding the animal and killing it instantly i am happy. If i wound the animal and don't kill it instantly i am sad for the animal because it has to suffer for something i did. Being completely honest, If the duck dies instantly i am happy because i have food to eat, an animal didn't have to suffer, and the conquest thing. Thats always a part of it but with me it is never the only part."

So I get the food thing (still it's less efficient energy-wise than gardening, but...) Now, about conquest... can you explain to me why you feel the need to victimize and subdue other life forms?
