Thanks, but where's the eaglet torture? MDG?

Thank you very much for the links Copenhagen, but the only thing I see in any of them regarding eaglet ceremonies, beaver extinction, or buffalo extinction is in the 4th article which says only that eaglets are gathered and raised "like brothers", eventually sacrificed, then burried with the same reverence accorded to family members. No details are given about the sacrifice ritual but, again, its hard to believe that they would torture them to death, as was claimed in the thread below, when they were considered to be "brothers". The other articles paint the warm, intelligent, compassionate, and prophetic picture of the Hopis I am accustomed to.

So, again, I must ask: What is the source for these claims regarding the torture of eaglets and the mindless destruction of buffalo and beaver populations? So far, it has amounted to nothing more than a rumor posted by MDG.

MDG, care to step up to the plate one more time and provide us either with a link to the alleged (LA Times?) article and some proof of the beaver and buffalo claims?
