Whats a baove?

It is interesting, though, that in Jeff's post baove he does state that his non-religious stance hellps to justify his opposition to this practice.

Relationship with one';s God makes all of the otehr things in life much less important, including animals rights.

Again, why is it ok to practice aniaml cruelty in the name of ones religion but not just for the hell of it? Ones religion is merely ones belief system; Why should certain cruel acts performed on animals be exempt from prosecution just because you call it part of a religion? I assume then that as long as I believe its part of my religion that I can fornicate w/ my children? Why should you (not necessarily you) be granted special priveleges under the name of your religion that the rest of us cant have just because we dont follow that specific religion?
