Must we think so hard?

Gideon, dear friend,

The answer is yes. Worshiping the Lord with our mind can only enhance our capacity to worship Him. After all, He says to worship Him with our heart, soul, AND mind. Worshipping God with all our strength is difficult but the Holy Spirit works wonders. Keep faith. What seems like a paradox now, in later years may be solved.

Secular science is that way also. "Verified" science of the past has been overturned by more "verified" science, and on, and on, etc.

As for verifiable "science", Heisenberg, for an example, had his Uncertainty Theory upgraded to level of "Principle" with no proof other than the observer's predetermined outcome. Some science, come circularity, hey?

The Bible remains today without a provable contradiction. Oh yes, there may be mysteries not yet solved, but that doesn't bother me so much. The same can be said for all of science. The Bible is indeed a remarkable Book in both its accuracy and wisdom, but its main purpose is the Salvation of Souls in Jesus Christ.

Incidently, it is impossible to be an true aetheist (Romans 1). God, in His creation has made it clear so that all are without exuse.

So when you look at a tree or an animal, you know intrinsically that God created it. You may not want to admit it, you may not want to acknowledge it, you may even desire to mock it. But there, in the end it is a creation of God.

What other God but the God revealed in the Bible could find a way to express His love toward those beings who hate Him and choose eternal seperation from His authority and glory? "Forgive them, for they know not what they do."

God Bless.

Robert
