Beef burgers are so damn nice!!

I really like beef burgers but I know that the slash and burn operations etc. that produce them are death to the environment and real insane capitalism, so can anyone recommend to me a way that I could indulge my taste without wrecking everything?
Short of growing cows in my back yard, which isnt really big enough for that.
