: : So lets all get real here and quit asking all the wrong questions and arguing mute points. Bottom line is this. If you've met Jesus. There's no denying He's real. If you haven't then He still remains some cool dude with good ideas who died 2000 years ago. If you don't know what to believe, ask him yourself. Believe it or not he actually speaks to those that are willing to speak to him.

:Gotch: Encore! Encore! Extremely well said.

DDN: Really? I'm willing to speak to ANYBODY, particularly some guy who is alledgedly the annointed saviour of all humanity. So why hasn't he spoken to ME as Kristin claims he should have?

As for "speaking to him myself", how do I speak to him if I don't know who or where he is? If I told you that you need to speak to "Bob", what would you do at that point? Would you scan the phonebook until you found someone named "Bob" then call him on the phone? Would you run outside shouting up into the sky for "Bob!" while confused and frightened neighbors looked on? Would you meditate on the "BOB" mantra?
What?!

Can you see why us poor dumb heathens are so confused when you tell us to speak to Jesus? Can you stretch you minds for just a single solitary moment and try to appreciate the dilemma we have with such incredibly ambigous instructions? Do you care enough about other people going to hell enough to help us bridge this communication gap that christians all over the world have insisted on perpetuating for all these years?

One more point: What does being "real" have to do with being the solitary path of salvation for all humanity? I'M real. YOU'RE real. This computer I'm working on is real. The table its sitting on is real. Are these things then also THE path to salvation? Wouldn't that mean that they are synonymous with Jesus? Hey, wow, I'm Jesus!

I don't know Goth, seems to me that you have some pretty low criteria for what constitutes something being "Extremely well said".
