COPE: : Well, here you are MDG butting in on MY testimonial.

MDG: Actually, I was responding to Floyd. I'd decided to ignore your nasty little exit speech, but alas, like a rotting zombie, you've returned.

COPE: Yes, well it wasn't exactly high literature, but i think i got my point across which is more than what seems to have happened previously.

: :Although i had previously vowed 'never to read one of your inane posts again' i was drawn by a wonder of what scurrilous slander you would attempt to lay against my name. So let me just say:

MDG: What, that you've already flatly stated people could burn cats alive if their motives were pure? That says it ALL about you, Cope.

In CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES i think it might have to be allowed (Besides, i knew it would piss you off so that was another good reason for saying it, i was also going to add 'it might bring people back to christianity', but i refrained from doing that). I never did however say that those circumstances were satisfied. However to take that out of context and blurt it out as if it were the rock upon which everything i said was built is a misrepresentation of what i said.

COPE: : God dammit you piss me off MDG.

MDG: Too bad. Like an old racist of yore stewing in his juices over the civil rights movement, you'd better get used to the fact that there is now a cohesive, worldwide animal rights movement which will persist in speaking out for helpless animals which people like you are so quick to abuse in the name of human superiority.

COPE: Now, that is slander. To equate me with a racist. If you had taken note of what i have said then you would have realised that i do not apporve of the unwarranted killing of animals.

So tell me does this overwhelming movement mean that animals are going to be taken out of their natural environment? Where they are killed everyday as the wheel of nature turns? I mean they are 'helpless' animals being abused by 'superior' beasts.

: "Truely man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. We live by the death of others: We are burial places! I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look upon the murder of men." -- Leonardo Da Vinci

COPE: Well, good for leo, does that mean i wonder that one can equate the 'murder' of a mosquito with the murder of a man?
