: yes vegitarians eat fish. vegans dont eat fish or milk products. i am a vegitarian and i do eat fish beacause of my health so it is ok for vegitarians to eat fish, fish is not considered a meat product.

No, vegetarians are defined as people who eat a diet made up of vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, and sometimes milk and eggs, but who abstain from animal flesh, including fish flesh. You're watering down the definition to meet your own ends.

I once had a woman tell me with a straight face that she was a vegetarian -- she only ate chicken! So much for defining words any way you want to.
