: Jesus warned us to be aware of the leaven of the Pharisees.

Well that's funny because i could have sweorn that jesus actually learnt what he had to say from the WRITINGS OF A PHARISEE (The 12 teastaments).

: The Pharisees were hypocrites that preached rules and regulations of the law while denying a personal relationship with God.

personal shmersonal SHOW me that such a relationship exists and i'll consider giving such arguments the time of day. If i said that i heard the pixies whispering in my ears would you consider that reasonable?

: They prayed in the synogogues in order to be seen by men and enjoyed being the head hochos of their city. Everything they did was based in the desire to be admired and worshipped as the ones who "really know God" yet they lead there followers far from the true gospel and grace of God. I have met a few wounded Christians who have been effected by this leaven. They believe that if they do good, and try not to sin that they are saved. This is an affront to the cross and denies the transforming power of the ressurected life of Jesus within them.

Yawn.

: Jesus predicted the leaven of the pharisees and refers to it often. So it is no mystery the division of the church and the cofussion it causes non believers. Most people I meet have never heard "the true gospel" because it has been whitewashed and used to control rather than set free. Jesus did not come do condemn the world but He came to give us life and life abundantly. You know what I tell Christians who don't live with freedom, joy, love and truth? Fire their God and hire the real one.

Yeah well, which is the 'true gospel'? Which one of the 50 odd?

: Note: In a recent 90% of atheists say the main reason they do not believe in a God is because of the Christians they have met.

And?
