This is exactly my position

Well, I quite half-way through the year because I could not stand the people who were a part of it. To begin they all had this holier-than-thou attitude and the way in which they went around trying to promote tolerance I did not agree with. They would intimidate people and try to make them feel awkard and quite simply alienate others. My whole stance was that we should merely explain to people that they do not have to agree with homosexuality or condone it, they merely have to respect people's rights to practice whatever they want so long as it doesn't interfere with others. The other members called me a wimp-ass-pussy. What bothers me is that they are actually causing more homophobia with their intimidation and alienation instead of promoting tolerance.

This is exactly my position, although I think it's more of a we hate hetero's and their society complex than a obsessive or oppressive liberal culture, I'm glad there's at least one other person out there saying hey I've no objection to self government etc. but there's a stage to far to this.
