: Every time a hetero couple walks down the street holding hands, or give each other a kiss in public, that's flaunting their sexuality. OR, that's just two people expressing affection for each other, and who cares, really?

SDF: Americans do -- in Vietnam the common Vietnamese ritual of holding hands, between men who are friends, was often interpreted by America's troops as an expression of homosexuality. It wasn't. (Sorry I can't remember where this fact was referenced -- I'll get to it on my next trip to the library.)

"Flaunting decency" is in the eyes of the beholder. Lark needs to hold his mind still long enough to come up with a THICK DESCRIPTION of "gay pride," maybe that will help.
