What does the govt do all day???

A thought just occurred to me... what does the govt do all day that costs so much money, and why aren't any problems being fixed???

Here's what I think:

The political system iself is riddled with big flaws. It is like a giant mexican christmas fiesta. each plitical perty isa huge pinata - apaper mache donkey for example. The donkey is filled with full employment, low interest rates, affordable housing, comprehensice medical benefits, a balanced budget and other goodies. The voter is blindfolded and given a big stick. He/she then swings around trying to hit a political condidate in the head and knock some sense into the silly bastard. That is the first flaw. Parties can't be honest about their priorites, and therefore people don't know what they should trust.

Secondly, the govt opperates on the principle (hereafter referred to the genius principle sierra exposed) "Hysteria is stupid, racism is wrong, and both are useless. But if gross panic and finding a scapegoat don't work what can we do?" This is the main expense.

This is similar among most developing or developed nations. For instance, the govt with hide drug problems with issues concerning assult rifles then take credit for things getting better on their own.

Drug problems, they assume, should burn out in 10 years anyway, becuase all the people who use the will be dead. So while the govt is waiting for everyone to die, it can create govt agencies to combat the sale of illegal drugs. Palm off the problem to local police who will complain about funding, then tell them they are only eing paid based on the evidence that they are actually making a difference. Hence police will continue to be paid diddly-squat.

The third most common expense in the govt, is toilet brushes.

Number four is the cost of politicians homes and houses.

Aren't I smart...
