Okay, there is a point to the subject... It is that animals are proven thinkers, therefore, they exist and should be treated as such. I think animal testing is absolutely disgusting, and there is absolutely no excuse for it. There are many alternatives to animal testing (i.e. cell cultures, blood samples, egg membranes etc.) and I believe these alternatives should be exercised. Animal testing doesn't do the world much good, much to the debate of manufactorers, and it absolutely makes me sick to think of a helpless animal, held in a position similar to Alex in A Clockwork Orange, with concentrated substances pouring into their eyes... What kind of people do we have living among us anyways?
