: :Anyway, even if you're not using that, stop it, for pete's sake. At least the foxes are eating the rodents around your bro's house, and besides, it's not their fault your brother keeps rabbits (share the world, share the world).

: Alright, alright, hey I like watching the foxes, but the rabbits have Miximitosus too and I dont want that being transmitted.

Share the miximitosus, share the miximitosus!

: : It's GREAT! But it's also the 5th volume of a two-part trilogy. The first is "Sundiver," then "Startide Rising" (my personal fave), then "The Uplift War," after that, he took a few years off and recently put out "Brightness Reef," then "Infinity's Shore," and the last one just came out, but I don't know its name.

: It's sci-fi right? Can you give me the jist, have you ever read Terry Pratchett?

: Cheers,

Oh yeah, it's science fiction. I believe Brin has a PhD in physics, but his writing is accessible to the non-scientist without being condescending, in that you can actually learn something about astronomy, etc. while being entertained. (By the way, Brin wrote the novella, "The Postman," which Kevin Costner promptly mutilated in his movie version of it). I've never heard of Terry Pratchett, but I'm guessing he/she writes SF too. Can you recommend a good one?

Cheers back at ya,
MDG
