Mad Cow disease as a deterrent

While few would-be customers seem to care about what goes into producing their meal, they sure care about food safety scares. This being the case, any protest at a burger chain should mention that the practice of feeding dead cattle(ground up) to the live ones, then mechanically deboning the beef used for hamburgers, makes it only a matter of time before the Mad Cow disease prions find their way into the beef supply and start KILLING people-after first making them "insane". What happened in Britain could easily happen in the US or any other factory farming country.

People who don't give a damn about animal rights, worker's rights, or the environment do not want to die of food poisoning, or worse, the human version of Mad Cow disease. The delay time is about 15 years, so by the time you know it is too late to stop it, so the only defense is not to eat beef!
