Hi,Alice,I'm a (technically) WC student in Liverpool,ENgland.
You talk about what happens to those similar to ourselves post-graduation,and I think that's the problem.It's a simple fact that with equal or greater results,we have less chance of geeting a decent job at the end than the trad. MC guys.Getting lumped in with them may have it's own problems,but actually getting to that stage is the biggest hurdle.
It's all a question of social contacts etc.I'm always keen to get a job,to get some experience prior to leaving,but without the web of contacts,I have to sit by and watch people I am brighter than,stronger than,and so on, Pick up valuable positions.
