I know what you saying about the absolute joy that the Ronald McDonald House brings some children. I had the pleasure of meeting a group of those fortunate chidren on the Trent Severn waterway in Ontario Canada. As my father and I were waiting for a "lock" to open we heard the sound of loud music and laughter from behind. To our surprise it was four boats of about 5 children each from the Ronald McDonald House.They were the happiest kids I've ever seen, and these were kids with extreme mental and physical disablilties.

However, it's the kids without these disabilities that we need to worry about. They are growing up in front of the T.V wathching Power Rangers and eating McDonalds. They are overweight, under stimulated and companies like McDonalds only contribute to this unhealthfulness in order to make th ealmighty dollar!
