Okay, now it is time for you people to hear a youths version of this situation. I have lived in Red Hook all my life (16yrs). I have found that in order to do anything or have any fun then you actually have to drive all the way across the river to do anything or eat. Okay, granted there are a few restaurants in the village, but those don't satisfy the needs of Red Hooks youth. We love change and we love McD's. In reality, you people fighting against this have no logical reasoning. How in god's name is Mcd's gonna effect the history of this town. How is it gonna hurt the town. Okay, We already have a dunkin donuts and a pizza hut. They havn't hurt us. STOP HOLDING US BACK. I think a a spokesperson for the youth that we want to see this mcdonalds win and build on that site. And just in case your thinking, "Oh, why should I listen to a stupid kid, he probably does drugs and drinks and all that stuff." Well, I have some news for you. I am straightedge. That means that I obstain from Alchohal and Drugs and all chemicals. I also obstain from smoking. And I'm a vegetarian. So, just think of how we feel before you go and decide what is best for us. Thank you for your time,

Derek
